“God writes his hopes and plans for us into our deepest desires”.
St Ignatius of Loyola
So…. what is your deepest desire?
The Marist Vocations Ministry want to support vocations for the life of the Church. We want to encourage both men and women on their vocation journey listening to God. So, where are you on this journey?
Curious?
Who are you really? What are you going to do with your life? What values will you live by? Are you just going along with life? What is your deepest desire? What are you really waiting for? All normal questions…. but are you going to take the next step?
If its a yes, welcome to the journey of really trying to listen to God at work in your desires and life - listening for your call and vocation.
Lets begin with the PRAYER journey.
Can’t decide?
Sometimes its confusing. There are so many good options - and so many possibilities. It’s hard to decide. Sometimes we feel ‘stuck’.
If you’re at this stage, we’d like to encourage you reflect on the 7 steps of DISCERNMENT.
If you still feel confused, or things are getting clearer, take up the invitation for SPIRITUAL DIRECTION and be encouraged with wisdom from someone experienced on the journey.
Committed?
If you feel you’ve reached a decision moment but just want some help and encouragement with the next steps try SPIRITUAL DIRECTION.
For those who are discerning consecrated life and priesthood there is a 10 month VOCATIONAL ACCOMPANIMENT program with someone who is a religious - priest to accompany you.
